Festivals
30 May 2019 20:00 - 22:00
From Paaspop via Parade to Into The Great Wide Open. Forget the winter blues - it's summer, and festival time. But you won't get far with just a stage and a poster. Who designs these festivals? Who creates their image? "Let me entertain you!"
Jurriaan Hos
Jurriaan Hos studied Interaction Design at HKU before fully immersing himself in motion graphics. He regularly works with his brother, Merijn Hos, creating worlds full of imagination and startling animations. He works with Down the Rabbit Hole, Lowlands, We Love Green and STRP Festival, among others.
VJ Noralie
Noralie designs multidisciplinary experiences with light, video and sound. She provides visual decorations for festivals, events and club nights with video, installation, audio design and interactive environments such as the light show at the PSV stadium during Eindhoven's light festival Glow, and the video decor for the Waterwereldsteden theatre tour by Eefje de Visser.
Studio Colorado
Studio Colorado comprises the long-time graphic design duo Remco Oude Alink and Nine Fluitsma. Colorado combines the autonomous attitude of Nine with the strategic and clear design of Remco. This results in colourful, no-frills, free work. They created the identity for several editions of the Dekmantel festivals in Amsterdam, São Paulo and Croatia, and have designed events and festivals for Boijmans, Manifesta 9, and Ultimate Bach.
