In the second episode of 'Collectivizations' Jonas Staal interviews the revolutionary Coni Ledesma, a leading representative of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP), on the importance of land, women's liberations, and collective work in contemporary collectivization processes. Klaas Kuitenbrouwer, curator and expert on e-culture at Het Nieuwe Instituut, speaks with Debra Solomon, artist and founder of Urbaniahoeve Social Design Lab for Urban Agriculture in Amsterdam, on developing food forests, shaping new ecosystems in public spaces, and collectivizing as a multispecies endeavor.

Debra Solomon is an artist and founder of Urbaniahoeve ('the city as our farm') Social Design Lab for Urban Agriculture, a foundation that produces food forests in public spaces and offers related education and training with locals in and for their own public space.
Collectivizations, an initiative from artist Jonas Staal, is a series of online conversations to explore strategies and practices to turn trillion-dollar companies into new commons. In close collaboration with Head of Research Marina Otero Verzier and Head of Programs Flora van Gaalen, various cultural workers of Het Nieuwe Instituut are involved with the exploration of the meaning and the future of collectivization.
